Hungarian interpretation and translation

Emese

About me:

I obtained a degree in American Studies and German from Eszterházy Károly College in Eger, and then worked as an interpreter and translator for private companies. I expanded my qualifications and experience with a specialization in international diplomacy and EU studies at Budapest Business School. I moved to Ireland in 2011, and in 2015, I earned a qualification in Irish law, as well as a master's degree in international human rights, followed by a diploma in immigration law from the Law Society of Ireland. I successfully passed eight different exams required for a solicitor.

I volunteered at a government organization called Citizens Information and performed legal activities in smaller offices, which included the following:

- Outlining labor litigation materials,

- Drafting contracts,

- Preparing cases related to personal injury,

- Applying for various social benefits, and

- Applying for Irish citizenship.

Among my greatest achievements is securing an €18,000 out-of-court settlement in a labour dispute and successfully appealing several rejections of social welfare applications.

Currently, I refer clients to solicitors in partnership with Finbarr Murphy Solicitors and assist them in preparing various documents and litigation materials, while also independently continuing the application processes for social benefits and Irish citizenship.

Additionally, I provide comprehensive translation and interpretation services in Hungarian, English, and German.

Nagyon segítőkészek voltak, mindenben támogattak, így könnyebben intézhettem ügyeimet Írországban.

Reference

"Tamás is an incredibly well-instructable translator. He knew what I wanted from just a few words. He understands what I am satisfied with and what I might want translated differently.

He feels and knows how his translation preserves the essence of the text to be translated. I believe he is a translator blessed with intuitive ability. He translates both literature and pulp fiction with equal strength. He easily and quickly adapts to the given text, and his work ethic is incredible.

As a director, the most reassuring thing for me was that his translation was able to maintain the dialogues of our film at an international level. Furthermore, he has the ability to convey the characteristics of the given language into the target language while maintaining authenticity.

I believe this should always be the goal of every translator: to ensure that the translation is of international quality and that the essence of the original text is not lost. Tamás is a translator with exceptional talent, whose knowledge, perseverance, and creativity guarantee that the text receives a world-class translation."
